Minimum Relative Intensity (Theoretical)
Minimum relative intensity (theoretical) field needs to contain the minimum allowed intensity for peaks in the theoretical spectrum. Intensity is provided relative to the tallest peak in the spectrum. As such, it must be a floating point number greater than or equal to zero and less than one. In case it is set to zero, a theoretical spectrum covering 0.9999 of the isotope distribution will be generated and used as is. Otherwise, peaks that are below min. rel. intensity will be removed from the theoretical spectrum. As a rule of thumb, peaks that are lower in magnitude than average background noise should be removed from the theoretical spectrum. Otherwise, tiny peaks will be mistakenly matched to noise and will inflate the candidate score, potentially leading to a false positive match that will outshadow the true match.
